Retrospective ICAVI 2008

We got at the end of 2008 ready too face new goals and challenges, imposed by a new economic reality. On the beginning of 2008 the boilers market was going trough a very positive phase on its selling, so we took the opportunity to show our values and qualified equipments on this great stage.

On the other hand, this same market is already changing, we are living in a worldwide recession time, what affect significantly the exports and the investments. In the internal market, it is already possible to feel its reflexes, and we know that in 2009 it will be even greater, since the last quarter of the year is always contemplated with good sales, and it hasn’t occurred in the last two months of 2008.

The company keeps investing on innovations and on great quality equipments, because it is fundamental for us to keep going forward with success on quality products and services. As examples we have the recent purchase of an administrative and production management software; the company helps financially with the technical knowledge improvement of its employees, paying technical and third grade courses.

We are thankful for all the employees, suppliers and customers that contributed in a significant way for ICAVI’s success achievement, building straight partnerships. Now in 2009, we are moving on by great challenges and a lot of work, and we will keep our way to success and achievements that ICAVI have been done trough the years.

Delivered equipments in 2008

On 2008 ICAVI developed projects, worked on boilers assembles and also realized reforms of boilers. In the most selling equipments are: Watertube Boilers, Firetube Boilers, Dry Burners, Refrigerated burners, feeding and storage systems, boiler for water heating, tanks, desaerator, multiciclone filter and completed assy of boilers.

ICAVI celebrate 1° SIPAT (Internal Week for Preventions of Work Accidents) And social movement

The ICAVI Company, being constantly caring about its employees, held on September 2008 the 1° SIPAT, an event coordinated by the CIPA – Internal Commission for Accidents Preventions, that presented not only methods for accidents preventions, but also other related themes. During the 5 days, qualified professional speakers talked about safety during the working time, ergonomics, first aid and venomous animals - this was done by the Fire Department ; it was talked about safety in the transit, about being carful and aware, it was done by the Federal Road Police; motivation and self esteem, DST, AIDS and cancer (breast and prostate), done by the Heath Center of Pouso Redondo. To encourage even more the participation of everybody, it was done a competition where the teams promoted campaign clothes, which were donated to APAE (Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional people) in Pouso Redondo City.

The close of SIPAT was done by the divulgation of the winner team of the competition and distribution of one tree for each employee. To close the week ICAVI let the Saturday be the Family Day in the company, where the doors were opened for the families’ employees.

Donations for the people affected by the flood in Santa Catarina State (that occurred on November 2008)

ICAVI and its employees raised in cash R$ 2.335,00 (USD 1.005,00) for the people that were affected by the flood in Santa Catarina State, and also it was raised other donations that were asked by the Fire Department, as food, clothes, blankets, health care products and water. The donations were sent to Rio do Sul city where the Fire Department organized and distributed for the cities that needed it most.
